Monitoring H2S levels is important for safety
Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas is commonly found in industries such as wastewater treatment. It is a colorless gas with a strong, unpleasant odor that can be toxic and flammable in high concentrations. Consequently, it is important to measure the level of H2S in order to ensure a safe work environment.
The concentration of H2S in the air above the wastewater is measured by a hydrogen sulfide meter. This device uses electrochemical sensors to detect the presence of H2S and ensures accurate, reliable readings.
CaNaRy - Hydrogen Sulfide Meter from ACOWA
ACOWA´s CaNaRy is a unique hydrogen sulfide meter. It can monitor the level of H2S in gaseous form at concentrations from 0-300ppm and then converts this to a standard 4-20mA signal.
CaNaRy is delivered fully calibrated and ready for installation with a 10m cable. Thereafter the CaNaRy does not need to be calibrated for the entire lifetime of the cell. The lifetime is expected to be minimum 2 years.
