AcowaDash
Easy and clear display screen for modern pumping stations
What is AcowaDash?
AcowaDash is a data processing and visualization platform that enables data collection from ACOWA’s own products, but at the same time ensures easy integration with SCADA-systems as well as others 3rd party software platforms and/or cloud-based solutions.
AcowaDash comes in several levels and can be offered as either a full hosted cloud-based solution, or as a local installation on the user’s own server platform. AcowaDash supports the requirements for today’s IT security and therefore the optimal solution for all utilities.

Why AcowaDash?
The requirements for monitoring the aquatic environment, means that Denmark today is a pioneering country in relation to the data base for water levels and environmental conditions.
But how do you make the best use of this many data and data sources. Many different systems, each based on their own data platform, have previously made it difficult to get the full overview.
AcowaDash is based on open-source technology and easily integrates with other systems. Thereby collecting all data in one place and can therefore be utilized optimally.
How does AcowaDash work?
AcowaDash is designed to receive and analyze raw online data from a variety of different sources. These data can then be validated and used for calculated data for e.g. stormflow incidents, non-revenue water detection and pump well analyses.
Data can be displayed where the user needs it, either via AcowaDash’s own visualization platform, SCADA-system or other 3rd party software platforms .

SPECIFICATIONS
AcowaDash can collect raw data from ACOWA devices and convert this into useful data in the form of stormflow calculations, as well as forward alarms and warnings in the form of either e-mail or SMS. The visualization can take place on a PC, mobile phone and tablet, as long as the user has network access to the system (either via the internet for cloud solutions or via a local network for solutions on the customer’s own server environment).
In addition, AcowaDash can be integrated with other systems, e.g. SCADA systems, and here collect historical data for level and pump starts and convert this data into valid flow calculations at all existing pump stations and overflow structures.
In addition, AcowaDash also enables device management of our battery-powered devices, which allows the user to make configuration changes, firmware updates and transfer data for event-based logging with timestamping to other systems that do not normally support this functionality directly via the logger.
AcowaDash is tailored to the water supply and wastewater industry and can be adapted to individual customer needs. By default, the system’s functionalities support the following.
- Groundwater level
- Standard level measurements in wells, structures, basins, tanks, reservoirs and streams.
- Standard measurements for hydrogen sulphide, pH, pressure, temperature etc.
- Stormflow calculations, both via ACOWA products and via imported level data from other software platforms
- Simple alarming via the FireFly device.
- Pump control monitoring.
- Groundwater control
- Well analysis
- Capacity calculations at all existing pumping stations with historical data
- Inlet profiles at all existing pumping stations with historical data
- Non-revenue water detection with historical data, both direct and indirect diversion
All our communication is encrypted via TLS, where unique keys are used for each and every device and thus follows the highest standards for secure communication. With TLS, messages between the client and server devices are verified using cryptographic keys.
These keys help prevent man-in-the-middle attacks, where hackers send fake messages from clients or devices. Our firmware on the devices is also secured via a special bootloader, where the device is verified before any flash. In addition, we use the ModBus protocol, which requires a register list for decoding data, and we have the option of using PIN and APN (MPLS secure mobile) on our SIM cards.
User access to the system is role-based and users can be divided into the following categories: administrator, editor or viewer. In addition, it is possible to assign the individual users to their own team/organization. Users/teams/organizations have different access to data. To access the system, log in via a standard web browser over HTPPS with username/password and two-factor authentication.
Data is of course the property of our customers! Read more in our sales and delivery conditions.
